How much does company profile design cost in Kenya?

A company profile quote is easier to judge when you know what counts as a page and what the designer is expected to do with your content.

THE SHORT ANSWER

Sage Design Lab charges Ksh 749 per page for company profile design, including front and back covers, with a two-page minimum. A six-page profile is Ksh 4,494 for the base design. Writing support, editable handover, printing and other additions need their own agreed scope. These are Sage’s prices, not a Kenyan market average.

Start with the page count, including the covers

Count the pages someone sees when opening the PDF. The front cover is one page. The back cover is another. An open spread may show two pages together, but it still contains two separately designed pages.

4Ksh 2,996
6Ksh 4,494

Use the table to plan a budget, then check whether your material fits that length. A company with a few clearly defined services may need less space than a contractor presenting several substantial projects. Shrinking every paragraph to keep an arbitrary page count usually makes the document harder to use.

What should a company profile include?

Give the reader a clear answer to four questions: what do you do, who do you help, what supports your claims and how can they contact you? For a business introduction, a useful outline is:

  • A cover with the correct trading name and a short description.
  • A business overview written for the intended reader.
  • Services grouped in a way customers understand.
  • Relevant projects, experience or capacity you can substantiate.
  • Team information where it matters to the assignment.
  • Current contact details and a clear next step.

For a tender, read the actual tender instructions. A well-designed profile does not replace required certificates, technical schedules or other submission documents, and it cannot guarantee an award.

Make the claims checkable before making the pages beautiful

Supply approved project descriptions, dates, photographs you may use and the current version of your service list. If a project was undertaken by a team member before joining your company, describe that relationship accurately. Do not make the company appear to have delivered work it did not do.

Keep a separate source folder for approvals and supporting records. Only put material intended for the reader in the public profile. Confidential contracts and personal records do not belong there simply because they help establish the background.

Compare the same scope when comparing quotations

Ask whether the fee covers layout only, restructuring, writing, image sourcing, revisions and editable files. Check how many pages are included and how extra pages will be priced. Agree the delivery format before work begins.

Sage includes two revision rounds within the agreed scope. Writing support and editable handover are optional. If you need printed copies, request a separate print specification and quotation; a design estimate should not be read as a printing price.

A redesign also needs a content check. Reusing an old PDF is useful, but outdated contacts, retired services and old project claims should not survive merely because they already fit the layout.

A brief you can send today

Send your existing profile if you have one, logo, approved service list, intended reader, preferred length and deadline. Say whether you need a PDF, editable source or both. If you are unsure about the length, send the content first and ask us to recommend a structure.

Think beyond this edition. Keep an editable record of new projects and changes to your services so the next update is straightforward. Working with a partner who already knows your business reduces the amount you have to explain again.

A few more questions

Is a six-page company profile six pages plus covers?

In the examples above, six means six pages in total, including both covers. If you mean six inside pages plus two covers, the total is eight pages.

Can a new business have a company profile without client projects?

Yes. Explain the services, team experience and delivery approach honestly. Label any illustrative work as a concept and do not invent customers, results or testimonials.
